Campaign Objective – Higher education advertising – to encourage new students to apply for courses at West London College
Target audience – 15-18 years olds / Ethnic minorities
Geography – Primary target areas were Ealing Green, Hammersmith and Fulham, Southall Community College and West London Construction Academy. The wider area was West London and London itself.
Activity – Print – OOH – Radio
MEERKATs are curious creatures who see life as a continuous learning experience, with endless opportunities to observe, dig deep and investigate. Perhaps that’s why we have always enjoyed working on higher education advertising with clients like West London College and the University of Sussex.
MEERKATworks planned and bought advertising across print, OOH and radio. The print adverts ran across the front page of The Evening Standard on GCSE Results day and in the Education section of The Metro and recruitment pages of The Ealing Gazette Series.
The radio airtime activity ran on Capital Xtra and Sunrise, and the OOH was a combination of static and digital formats on buses, London Underground and roadside. All the media worked together to create an impactful and integrated higher education advertising campaign.
