Animal charity fundraising campaign
Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home (EDCH) has long been close to the MEERKATs’ hearts. It is a place where animals are properly looked after, trained, played with and loved. It gives dogs and cats a second chance at a loving home, through its thorough rehoming process, as well as supporting people through difficult times so that they can keep pets in their existing homes.
The MEERKATs have planned and bought a campaign for EDCH’s Winter Appeal, which kicks off this November. The Winter Appeal campaign encourages vital donations for the home through a combination of digital audio, Out-of-Home (OOH) and measurable programmatic display.

The programmatic display ads run over Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home’s catchment area. The ads reach people while they browse and encourage them to click through to the EDCH website to donate. Alongside programmatic, the OOH sites have been strategically geo-targeted within key areas covered by the charity, at rail stations and bus stops.
The geo-targeted digital audio campaign has been carefully planned to reach pet owners tuning in to stations such as Magic, Radio Forth and the Greatest Hits Network.
