“Miles spent with MEERKATS are never wasted”
As MEERKATworks moves into its 20th year, we are excited to launch our ‘free-roaming’ fundraising initiative – MEERKATSmiles’.
MEERKATSmiles is how we want to support the work of our chosen charities while we’re out and about ‘walking and talking’ with clients and associates all over the UK.
To launch, we have selected two charities: The Clock Tower Sanctuary and Vintage Vibes. These charities carry out life-enhancing work for people young and old, experiencing homelessness and isolation in our hometowns, Brighton and Edinburgh.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary provides young homeless people in Brighton and Hove with a safe and supportive space to shape their own future, while Vintage Vibes is dedicated to empowering older people in Edinburgh to rediscover connection, adventure and friendship.
The idea of ‘walking a mile with the MEERKATs’ reflects our independent brand spirit and our values of collaboration, fresh thinking and positive action. We’re a sociable bunch who relish roaming free, sharing our media expertise, and giving back, all while harnessing the move to flexible working and the benefits of walking and talking.
