MEERKATs are avid explorers, and love being inspired by new places to visit. A shiny new pin on our “MEERKAT map” is the American state of Georgia.
Georgia is known for its stunning state parks, its role in American history and the civil war, and its subtropical climate. The state is also famous for food and drink – such as the peaches, nuts, and sweet tea, the southern hospitality, and for being the birthplace of some of the most influential people in the world, like Martin Luther King. The varied cities and landmarks in Georgia have their own unique offerings. So, whether you’re interested in history, culture, food, golf, or film, there’s something for everyone in this beautiful southern state.
This April, we are delighted to be working with the team at KBC on a campaign to promote Georgia as a destination to the UK market. The activity kicked off with programmatic using a combination of standard and High Impact creative, targeting those in market to travel. The programmatic ads have been created to promote the mountains, cities and coasts waiting to be explored in Georgia, with video being used in the High Impact formats.
Next up, the Explore Georgia campaign has gone live on ITVx across London and the South East. The MEERKATs were thrilled to secure an ITV Business for All partnership for our client’s TV campaign, for which ITVx provided an uplift of 85% added value. The TV campaign has been planned to target the key audiences using Experian data, programme select, TGI data and viewers with an affinity to travel.
