CityFibre geo-targeted advertising campaign
CityFibre geo-targeted advertising campaign
Using programmatic, digital and OOH advertising to reach specific Edinburgh postcodes
CityFibre needed to raise awareness of its full-fibre broadband rollout in specific parts of Edinburgh, including Portobello and other communities where installation was taking place. MEERKATworks planned and bought a precisely geo-targeted advertising campaign designed to reach the postcodes most relevant to CityFibre’s activity. The media plan combined programmatic advertising with digital and out-of-home (OOH) advertising, helping the campaign reach local residents both online and out in the real world.
Programmatic gave the campaign a targeted digital advertising layer, allowing CityFibre to speak to audiences in defined locations with greater accuracy. OOH advertising added visibility in the local area, reinforcing the message in the places where people lived, travelled and made everyday decisions. By combining these channels, MEERKATworks helped CityFibre focus its media spend on the communities most likely to benefit from the broadband rollout. The result was a campaign built around relevance, location and practical audience targeting.
