HOW WE MET

The MEERKATs were recommended by a client to FitzAll Media, the organisers of the National Pet Show and DogFest, in 2016. After successfully winning the tender for DogFest, we were invited to become the media experts for this dynamic events company founded by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick.

CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES

The aim of this campaign was to raise awareness of the National Pet Show amongst a family audience and drive ticket sales to the event held at the NEC in Birmingham.

WHAT WE DID TOGETHER

The MEERKATs scanned the landscape and planned a campaign creatively built around radio and outdoor advertising and focusing on the key regions and lifestyles of the target audience.

A radio campaign was created including original advert production, airtime with a distinct call to action, and promotional activity on Heart and Magic. MEERKAT negotiated a rare interview on Magic’s Breakfast Show, with Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, which generated an additional opportunity to drive ticket sales.
