MEERKAT bought a combination of print, outdoor advertising and radio promotions to market the event. All radio ads were written and produced in conjunction with Dan Hunt and SFX were sourced direct from Lucas Films. Print included front page strips in London Lite – London’s first free afternoon paper, and The Evening Standard.
The campaign was successful in boosting footfall for the event, and was the start of a happy and productive relationship with Melissa Saunders PR. Since this time, Melissa – a highly experienced events marketing specialist – has consistently used MEERKAT as her media buyers across a wide variety of events including the National Pet Show, Dog Fest, AVEX, FOODEX and the Buddhist and Ancestral Remembrance Ceremony.
