A retrospective of year 1 – 2006

2006 was all about Heidi getting out and about and meeting lots and lots of different people in the worlds of marketing, advertising and media. She also had to get her head around the different media platforms, and their various advantages and disadvantages, because unlike her previous life in sales, she could now look beyond just one channel and scan the whole media landscape.


Projects in 2006 included buying print and outdoor advertising to promote the infamous Metro Weekender on Clapham Common for Lock n Load Events as well as Ryan Air’s flights from Stansted Airport.¬†Other projects included buying a radio promotion to advertise The Back Show and print advertising in My Weekly and People’s Friend for Oakhouse Foods – a home meals service.
