MEERKATs are naturally down-to-earth, planet-loving creatures who believe in equality, diversity and green-living. As individuals, and as a company, we aim to live every day as ethically and sustainably as possible.
We introduced our MEERKAT ‘EARTHICAL’ ETHOS to ensure we focus on trading ethically, fairly and transparently, and also so that we consider our environmental impact in everything we do.
For example, as a fully independent media and marketing agency, we run free in the wild, and giving impartial, fair, ethically-sound advice is fundamental to what we do. We have chosen to dismiss with one large, power-hungry main office and instead work with an environmentally-friendly ‘burrow system’ which minimises commuting, fuel and energy use. We travel by public transport whenever we can, we stay with friends and family when we’re away as much as possible, we don’t print unless absolutely necessary, we’re recycling rascals, and we do pro bono work to support the circular economy.
